She has been published in the Nashville Bar Journal for her co-authored article, A New Domestic Tort. She is a past president of the Williamson County Bar Association.

Katie is a Rule 31 Listed Family Mediator with the additional certification of being Specially Trained in Domestic Violence Issues. She has also completed training in Collaborative Divorce Law. Aside from domestic work, Katie helps clients with simple wills and estate planning.

Katie is a Knoxville native and proud three-time graduate of the University of Tennessee. She is married to Nathan Zipper, Vice President of Business Development and Investor Relations for Williamson, Inc.
